Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses and prepare insightful commentary for closing and period-end reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Review and reconcile monthly/quarterly balance sheets and account reconciliations promptly and meticulously
- Safeguard compliance with internal policies across all accounting functions
- Transform data into meaningful insights by preparing insightful reports and evaluations, acting as a trusted advisor to management and delivering ad hoc analyses
- Go beyond routine tasks by undertaking in-depth, independent analyses
- Collaborate closely with BMI managers, Schiedel HQ colleagues, and the BMI finance team, contributing to CFO-related projects
- Manage daily cash flow reporting and forecast external collections and disbursements using the TIP program
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by analyzing and reporting key data points
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and guidelines
- Deliver regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
- Review and adjust financial entries for accuracy and compliance
- Work on financial projects to enhance group reporting processes and improve compliance through system implementations
- Communicate effectively with colleagues from other departments on financial matters
- Partner with accountants, external auditors, and other finance team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or audit
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Strong understanding of Close & Period End Reporting, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, and General Ledger Accounting
- Experience with consolidated accounts and reporting
- Experience with accounting systems (SAP preferred)
- Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken, minimum B2 level)

Salary ranges from 3000 to 3500 euro gross depending on your experience.
