You will be asked to validate Luminor valuation model for illiquid bonds using historical market data. Afterwards you will be asked to share your findings and suggest modifications. You will gain in depth understanding of bond valuation, sources of market data and model validation techniques. We expect you to have basic understanding of financial instruments. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Math. This is a 100% on-site internship and please apply if you will be able to come to the office for the entire duration of your internship.
Your main responsibilities would be to help out unit’s project managers with their tasks. The main areas will be online information search, gathering and compiling data - using that to prepare charts, graphs, presentations. As well as to proof-read documents and prepare meeting minutes. Suggestions for unit work/process optimization will be very welcomed. You will get the opportunity to shadow the members of leading DCM team in the Baltics, listen-in to important meetings, get acquainted with rapidly growing debt capital market in the Baltic states and potentially provide input in creating a new equity capital markets offering in Luminor. We expect you to be comfortable with Excel as well as know basics of financial analysis / understanding of financial metrics. Knowledge of bank credit products will be considered as an advantage. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Finance related areas.
