Electronics & Embedded Software Engineering Manager

Currently our Global R&D Automotive Sensors team in Kaunas is looking for a manager to lead our Electronics and Embedded Software Engineering groups and manage all engineering activities, including design, development, production and testing.

This role reports to Senior R&D Manager Sensing and offers a hybrid work option.

In this role you will:

• Lead electronics and embedded software engineering team, coach and manage the work activities, priorities and have full management accountability for the performance and development of team
• Ensure Embedded software and Electronics Hardware groups have defined (and are following) working standards, procedures and KPIs set
• Analyze and evaluate new product requirements, align with the internal customers, assign work, sets priorities, remove obstacles, support the team for the maximum performance and be accountable for the quality and productivity overall
• Implement and maintain overall engineering objectives and initiatives, confront, and solve performance/operational issues to improve efficiency
• Ensure team satisfaction and overall positive climate via direction, transparency, and example, organization of events and possible conflict management, benchmark and research for the best practices that would be beneficial to the team performance
• Collaborate and lead on Embedded software development frameworks, implement best practices
• Plan training, equipment & software budget and ensure its implementation and execution
• Steer team towards continuous improvement on periodical basis via development plans, annual goals, regular feedback, and etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field; master’s degree would be beneficial
• >7 years of electronics or embedded systems engineering experience
• Team management experience and expressed stakeholders’ management competency
• Excellent time management, process management and project management skills
• Advanced technical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of engineering methods and tools
• High level of verbal and written communication skills in English language
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Strong team player with “Can do” attitude

The salary for this position starts from 4300€ gross but the final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
