About the role

Nasdaq offers products that cover the complete securities transaction processing chain including trading, clearing and risk management, settlement and depository services, and surveillance. Customer solutions may include one or more products, such as trading and clearing products, combined to deliver business value for specific customers. This team is responsible for maintaining and operating an integrated test system solution that incorporates Nasdaq core products deployed in the cloud. Tailoring such a solution requires product-to-product integration, synchronization of shared reference data, orchestration of schedules, alignment of deployment and technical operations, and alignment of accessibility. It plays a crucial role in streamlining multi-product deliveries by creating standardized integrations and workflows, supported by a common CI/CD pipeline, to ensure cross-product workflows are tested in conjunction with new product releases. The team ensures that business integration flows are continuously and automatically verified.

In this role, you will extend our test automation coverage and improve our build pipeline from a QA perspective while working with Technical Testing, Test approaches, and Tools. This position allows for creativity and design decisions with ownership and responsibility over creating more efficient testing methods

What you will do

• Conduct quality control tests and analyses to ensure software meets specified standards, development specifications, or client requirements.
• Build test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
• Collaborate with internal or external team members to plan various test phases; ensure these test phases are completed and documented, with a plan for problem resolution.
• Specialize in QA automation, developing and maintaining product and process quality, including standard procedures and methods.
• Create, execute, and maintain tests according to test scripts and test plans, testing front-end or back-end software components (or both) using industry best practices.

What We Expect

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience in software development.
• Proven years of experience in the field.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and automate comprehensive integration tests ensuring product quality and reliability.
• Effective communication in English, capable of liaising with development/business teams and clients.

It would be great if you have experience in:

• GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Helm for packaging, installing, and maintaining Kubernetes applications.
• Programming experience e.g. Python or Playwright.
• Cloud-based solutions including Docker and AWS.
