Working in cross functional team using Agile framework to design, build and maintain home improvement solution.

As a Data Quality Engineer, you'll integrate into a dynamic data engineering team led by an experienced Data Lead. Your new team is a blend of talented Data Engineers, Data Designers, meticulous QA experts, and an agile Scrum Master, all dedicated to building exceptional data solutions.

Data Quality Engineer will offer engineering support and deliver data insights through the collection, analysis, and summarization of development and service issues. Your expertise will help steer the direction of our data strategies and ensure the highest quality in our technology.

Python, Pyspark, Databricks

• Design, implement, and maintain processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various data sources
• Develop and execute data validation and cleansing strategies to identify and rectify data quality issues
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for quality assurance, ensuring that data meets established quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective data quality solutions
• Utilize SQL to perform data profiling, validation, and analysis, ensuring data integrity and reliability
• Employ Python and PySpark for data quality automation tasks, including scripting for data validation and error handling
• Utilize Azure Databricks for data quality assessments and analytics, ensuring data is fit for use across the organization
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality workflows, implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of data quality

• Strong programming skills in Python and Pyspark
• Proficiency in SQL
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Good knowledge of a data scripting language
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of various database systems for data validation and testing purposes. manipulation
• Ability to assess and analyse data quality using profile tools to identify anomalies and issues
• Strong root cause analysis
• Understanding of data warehousing
• Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data quality issues and propose effective solutions
