Your Experience
Must have:
6+ years in a software engineering company as a Site Reliability, DevOps engineer, or comparable engineering role
In-depth knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD deployment and management at scale
Experience with Observability techniques - metrics, logging, distributed tracing
Background in large-scale distributed backend infrastructure, databases, etc.
Background in multiple programming/scripting languages, e.g., Scala, Golang, C/C++, Python, bash, etc.
Knowledge of Linux kernel, low-level configuration, and debugging techniques
Vital aims to collaborate with other engineers and teams.
Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to write design documents, post mortems
Security best-practices and hardening experience,
Background in large-scale consumer software vendors.
Own infrastructure services: Terraform, Kubernetes, Sentry, EKS, Ansible, etc.
Manage our infrastructure as code, and improve automation and self-service offerings.
Provide observability tools for the engineering organization to detect service disruptions.
Respond to on-call duties for the infrastructure services.
Ensure business continuity by designing, developing, improving, and testing business continuity and availability techniques.
Continuous improvement of security hardening. We take it seriously.
Salary range:
Lithuania - €6600 – €9500 gross per month.
Ranges may vary depending on your skills, competencies and experience.
