Job description

Sales Operations Specialist

In the Revenue and Operations department, the mission is to promote, sell, onboard, and service the products built by our technical teams and departments. This means a deep focus on a 360-degree commercial strategy that helps take new

products to market and promote and maximize clients’ usage and experience with existing products. 


Sales Operations is responsible for supporting Sales people through Salesforce by guiding them through established processes, resolving challenges related to Salesforce and training on Salesforce. 


The Sales Operations Specialist is an important operational role within the Sales Operations team, acting as the Admin to the salesforce platform and passionately advocating for the value of Salesforce and its use. The role works with Sales people, Salesforce users and business solutions to support change requests, simple and sometimes challenging Salesforce administrational tasks and help Adform Sales to use Salesforce to provide richer quality data to the business and get value of it on the sales floor.

  • Be the Primary Salesforce Administrator (meaning; have the responsibility to own and control the master access to the system) 
  • Understand the concepts that govern the way that Salesforce supports our business
  • Diagnose and handle issues and be able to provide some configuration of the Salesforce setup
  • Generate or guide other to generate reports: making recommendation for optimum fields and understanding the value and frequency of the data gathered by those fields and what they are used for by the business
  • Consult on all cases that come in the Sales Ops queue via Zendesk, make recommendations for best practice and learn about the trends we see in Sales to inform and support the work of sales excellence
  • Regularly input into the Salesforce knowledgebase and support the Salesforce Operations Manager in keeping documentation and help/training files up to date
  • Be responsible for educating others on the Salesforce platform

  • Hands-on experience or acute interest in working with Salesforce platform or a CRM
  • Full proficiency in English language
  • Experience educating and explaining complex concepts to others
  • Experience working across multiple regions, time zones or cultures
  • Project experience (experience acting as a project stakeholder, making joint decisions and taking responsibility to perform important actions and workstreams)
