We are looking for a specialist based in Lithuania to join our team.

The client aims to build a new product offering a next-gen data platform that will power client-facing and internal analytics by ingesting business data from numerous sources and providing advanced reporting capabilities to users.

We are looking for a Strong Middle/Senior Data Engineer with proven knowledge of Azure Data Factory/Data Flow to join the project.

Azure Data Factory/Data Flow, Azure SQL, Azure Cloud

• Develop, operate, optimize, test, and maintain the business’s data warehouse
• Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code
• Solve data-related business objectives using existing tools
• Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
• Provide support and fix issues

• 3+ years of engineering experience or over 3 completed projects
• 2+ years working with data in the cloud, ideally using Azure
• Hands-on experience working with the Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Functions)
• Expertise in SQL and comfortable designing, writing, and maintaining complex SQL-based ETL
• Experience building batch data pipelines; ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Good understanding of architecture principles and best practices, knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals
• Experience working with Git
• Spoken English

• Understanding of data warehouse layers, approaches to load data into such layers, and relevant algorithms
• Experience with schema design and data modeling, and analytical skills to QA the data and identify gaps and inconsistencies
• Experience supporting Business Intelligence teams and products
• Experience in parallel computing
• Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake or similar
• Knowledge of data lake / data lakehouse architecture
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with Apache Spark and using Spark SQL
• Experience in writing Python code
