In the IT Infrastructure & Security department, we are responsible for owning and operating our internal infrastructure. We deliver support and equipment for all employees and are responsible for IT at Adform offices. We develop and maintain Adform Business Solutions and drive the Business Solution Tech Roadmap. We establish and maintain the enterprise security vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected, across Dev & IT and our internal infrastructure.

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our global Business Solutions Team. You will be based in Vilnius, Adform’s largest office with around 370 passionate, game-changing, Adformers. 

Reporting to the Head of Business Solution you will provide technical consulting, development, maintenance and support for the tools and systems overseen by Business Solutions. You are responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of the systems, and will take on advanced troubleshooting, system optimizations, and ensure data consistency and standardized integrations across all systems. You will collaborate closely with all members of the Business Solutions team to identify opportunities, gaps and risks associated with the tools and systems used by the business.

• Manage the daily operations and provide technical support to the end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and configuration requests to ensure the efficient operation of all Business Solutions systems
• Design and implement upgrades, new systems and software applications to meet Adform’s changing business needs, in collaboration with other IT professionals and departments
• Manage the servers and applications for Business Solutions, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and secure
• Monitor system performance, identify and debug issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures, to protect critical information in the event of system failure
• Create and maintain documentation on all Business Solutions systems and procedures to ensure smooth operations and facilitate knowledge sharing among IT Security & Operations team members
• Train and mentor junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to effectively manage systems and to keep up with technological advancements

• A degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years’ experience working with IT systems, with at least 3 years in a senior-level position managing and supporting complex IT infrastructure
• Experience in software development with at least one language (e.g. java, scala, python).
• Comprehensive understanding in Software Development Cycle
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
• Experience with scripting, problem solving, and enterprise resource planning
• Experience with enterprise integration and associated efficiency improvements
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Excellent problem-solving (“Can-do” approach) and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• A proactive, self-starting and results driven approach
• The ability to communicate in a clear, compelling, concise and regular manner, ask questions to gather needed information and clarify uncertainties
• The ability to give and receive constructive feedback on both work related and behavioral matters
• Good time management and self-management skills
