As HR Advisor you will be responsible for administering and advising regional businesses on the company’s HR practices, policies, and procedures, inclusive of providing coaching and advice to employees and line managers.

You will work collaboratively with Local HR Managers, advisors and the JMGS HR hub team in order to achieve strategic business objectives, including supporting performance management, talent management planning, employee engagement and employee relations.

HR Advisors support all businesses in their region by providing expert advice/counsel to managers and employees in areas all aspects of human resources in compliance with local and federal employment laws.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HRBPs, local HR Advisors and Centres of Expertise to ensure effective administration of HR policies and practices.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for managers, providing advice, coaching, and support on policy interpretation by using ticketing tool.
• Advise on various HR matters including payroll, performance management, training, employee relations, and compensation & benefits administration.
• Handle individual employee issues and queries, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Provide coaching and counselling to employees, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Develop HR materials and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations and enhance organizational practices.

Requirements for the role:

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a supportive environment.
• Basic understanding of HR principles and enthusiasm for learning about HR processes.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with colleagues and support HR inquiries.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic workplace.
• Familiarity with basic employment laws and regulations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is important for daily tasks.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
