Job Description

As an instrumental part of our engineering team you will:

• Working with the best researchers in the world, design, implement, benchmark and validate object detection, tracking and pose estimation algorithms to equip satellites with real-time awareness of their surroundings.
• Refine and optimize existing models for low latency on embedded hardware.
• Lead laboratory testing campaigns to validate and verify the algorithms for real use cases. 

Job Requirements

• 5+ years developing embedded systems software for time critical applications.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing deep NN architectures (convolutional, transformers) using deep learning frameworks, e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Demonstrable experience developing and deploying models using at least one deep learning framework.
• Demonstrable understanding of the current features and limitations of popular deep learning frameworks.
• Proficiency with C and Python.

Assets

• Previous experience working in the space industry is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with CPU/GPU architectures, numeric libraries.
• Familiarity with the CUDA toolkit.
• Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.
