Located in Vilnius and extending globally, Syno International is a data-driven company with branches and clients all around the world. We specialise in collecting, processing and analysing consumer data to empower our clients in their decision-making process. We own and maintain multiple products for innovative survey creation, respondent management and data lake solutions.

We are looking for a person to join our development team and take responsibility for improving, creating, and developing our in-house software solutions. Our technical stack consists of PHP 8, Symfony 5, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Vue.js v3, AWS, Git and many more.

What you will do:

• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Write tests to cover critical functionality areas.
• Design/amend/improve database structure.
• Design and optimize current systems for the best performance and stability.
• Design and implement new solutions, solve challenging tasks such as parallel job execution, data synchronization and more.

We expect you to be great at:

• Symfony is not new to you.
• Relational databases known from create, alter, drop to migration and you can talk about implemented performance solutions (column store, sharding) for solving large dataset issues.
• You also have strong knowledge in Mongo (or other non-relational) database and know its tricks and problems.
• Infrastructure support like load-balancing, Linux server management, automation, security would be a great benefit. 
• Designing/implementing/improving APIs.
• Not just familiar with writing tests but written them in the past. 
• Understand OOP standards and your thinking is based on those principles.
• Fluent in English.
