Job description

Accounts Receivable Associate (fixed term)

The position of Accounts Receivable Associate entails the responsibility of accurately registering incoming payments for multiple client groups across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. Within this role, you will be accountable for reviewing and verifying accounts receivable and related accounting entries, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and reconciling outstanding AR items. Additionally, you will provide support to customers and business partners regarding inquiries related to accounts receivable.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Register and allocate incoming payments (check, wire, credit card, other credit) to accounts receivable sub-ledger accounts.
  • Investigate misapplied payments and make necessary corrections.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve cash application inquiries from external customers.
  • Provide timely support to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement and process automation projects.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and finance policies.


Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in an international company.
  • Previous experience in a global company is advantageous.
  • Excellent English language skills and effective communication across different cultures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial processes and systems.

The monthly salary (gross) starts from 1900 EUR, with additional bonuses applicable.


This is a full-time temporary position located in Vilnius, with a duration of 1 year and a possibility of extension. As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible.

 

A valid working permit for the EU is mandatory.
