AP Team Lead

Our client – BMI Group – is the largest manufacturer of flat and pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Europe. The company is establishing its Global Business Services (GBS) Center in Vilnius and invites you to join the Finance and Accounting professionals’ team.

• Ensuring all supplier invoices are paid correctly and promptly, payments to external suppliers are on time
• Ensuring Accounts payable year-end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and timely, preparing accounting related-reports and analysis spreadsheets as required
• Assisting with new process, procedures and operating improvement implementations
• Ensuring that the AP team members are trained on the process and system 
• Coaching, advising, planning and organizing the AP Team work, providing ongoing performance and development of the team
• Developing a set of KPIs to report on the overall effectiveness of the AP process and develop action plans for the team to implement
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards and SLA’s, ensuring compliance to local statutory regulations

• 5+ years of S2P experience
• 2+ years of relevant Team Lead experience in Accounting
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Knowledge of Accounting Systems, preferably SAP
• Good understanding of customer engagement and customer services processes
• Ability to lead and mentor team members
• Excellent problem solving, time management, decision-making and organizational skills
