Job description

Market Research Analyst

The role is a combination of directly conducting research and analysis of FMCG markets and managing the work of remote research associates in the field.

Research coverage is of consumer markets in Central Europe (beauty&personal care, apparel, luxury goods and other industries). Market Research Analyst will be committed to building:

  • Research expertise;
  • Regional/country expertise;
  • Selected industries’ expertis;
  • Commissioning and editing expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

Analysts work as a team and are responsible for updating and developing sections of new and existing datasets and reports for the FMCG industries covered. The role includes:

  • Secondary research, to gather published information;
  • Primary research;
  • Collating and analysing new research;
  • Report writing;
  • Client-facing responsibilities, which may include responding to client queries, attending conferences, giving presentations etc;
  • Statistical and textual editing;
  • Assessing and improving overall product quality;
  • Building research contacts and developing regional expertise.


We expect you to have:

  • Education background: economics, marketing, business administration and similar;
  • Interest in FMCG market and consumer behaviour;
  • Oral and written fluency in English;
  • Polish/Czech/Romanian or other Central European language skills - big advantage;
  • Good numeracy and analytical abilities, good Excel skills;
  • Research track record, with proven skills in desk research, trade interviewing, analysis and report writing - big advantage;
  • Excellent organisational and communication capabilities;
  • Tenacity and attention to detail.
