Data Scientist for Advanced analytics/Credit Risk Modelling | OP Corporate Bank
OP CORPORATE BANK which belongs to the largest financial group in Finland and for several years has been one of the fastest growing banks in Lithuania – currently is looking for a new professional to join the team in Vilnius.
The Role:
• Participate and contribute to the end-to-end process of the development of tools supporting automatization effort within risk models unit
• Prepare documentation of the developed tools and contribute to the training of the risk analysts in using them
• Participates in other development or analysis tasks related to risk management
• Contribute to the methodologies and frameworks development within risk models unit
• Support high coding quality standards within team by peer reviewing
The Person:
• 2 years of experience in the area of quantitative analysis and modelling
• Proven ability of coding with R or Python and SQL
• Proven ability to work with version control system Git
• Practical experience of documentation and presentations, and proven ability to adapt internal guidelines to deliverables
• Practical experience of statistical and mathematical methodologies
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability of active listening, questioning and explaining subject matters
• Proven ability to interpret internal and external requirements, and modelling procedure, and adapt them to practice
• Experience in credit risk modelling
• Fluent written and spoken English
• University’s degree
