We are developing worldwide products for global financial markets and testing both front-end and back-end software components applying the best industry practices using Nasdaq Financial Framework microservices, code generation, and many more.

We are a team of highly motivated and skilled developers and test engineers, passionate about a flexible environment and culture of professional and personal growth. In this position as a QA Tester, you would be testing Nasdaq’s Core Desktop which provides GUI for Multi Matching Engine (MME).

Your role and responsibilities:

• Plan, carry out, and maintain manual and automated tests
• Write and update required test reports
• Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to ensure the resolution of reported defects
• Ability to build good relationships with peers, customers, and other partners
• Ownership of own test environments (e.g. Docker, Linux/Unix) & Test Data
• Be proactive and responsible for the overall quality of the software we deliver to customers

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in software testing
• Good interpersonal skills
• Both written and verbal English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Linux commands, databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in test automation
• Financials-related experience (trading, clearing, risk, etc)
