We are now looking for an Infra Technical Lead to join our talented Solution Delivery team with
responsibility for leading the technical BAU operations.
This role aims to stabilize and improve our infrastructure and working practices across hundreds of our
plant and office locations.
Key parts of this role include:
- Ensure 24X7 availability of Enterprise services across multiple time zones for the BMI Group
- Key leadership and delivery in our technology future
- Manage the activities of Enterprise vendors/partners to provide exceptional quality and service
- Manage the Enterprise services operational budget according to BMI Group standards
- Determination and measurements of metrics to ascertain quality and performance
What you can bring:
Extensive experience and proven track record in infrastructure management roles, with
proven experience of Enterprise Services in a large and complex global IT organization
delivered by 3rd party suppliers
- Strong knowledge and understanding of IT technology areas (within projects and operations)
- Strong knowledge of IT service management / service control processes and methodologies,
- e.g. ITIL
- Experience of leading global and matrixed infrastructure management teams, internal and 3rd
- parties
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Cross-functional and cross-regional IT operations experience with cultural awareness across
- global business units
- Able to work within ambiguity and change
- Commercially minded with a customer focussed outlook
- Self-starter who will be able to challenge and drive change with a can-do attitude
