This is a hands-on, contributor role suited to someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in portfolio, project, and value management within a technology environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistency and quality of data across portfolio reporting tools and artefacts.

Performance & Financial Analysis

  • Track delivery progress against agreed plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Support financial tracking at portfolio and initiative level, working with Finance and delivery leads.
  • Assist in monitoring forecast vs actuals, benefits realisation, and delivery health indicators.
  • Highlight trends, risks, and issues through clear analysis and commentary.

Process & Ways of Working

  • Support the adoption and continuous improvement of PMO/VMO processes, templates, and standards.
  • Assist Project and Program Managers with onboarding to portfolio processes and reporting expectations.
  • Help maintain the PMO knowledge base, documentation, and SharePoint repository.

Stakeholder Support

  • Act as a point of contact for portfolio data queries from stakeholders.
  • Build effective working relationships with delivery teams, finance, and governance stakeholders.
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis and insight requests to inform decision‑making.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a PMO, portfolio, project, or technology delivery environment – 2+ years
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, MS PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise reports and presentations for senior audiences.
  • Comfortable working with multiple data sources and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service‑oriented mindset.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting portfolio or financial governance processes.
  • Exposure to Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery environments.
  • Basic SharePoint experience for document and repository management.
  • Interest in portfolio optimisation, value management, or strategic delivery.

Personal Attributes
