Lead BIM Engineer

OUR CLIENT—headquartered in Germany—boasts 75 years of experience in civil engineering. Using the latest BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly processes, the company embraces innovation and offers future-oriented civil engineering solutions. The new Vilnius office is home to the company's core services. And the workforce is based on civil engineers. Employees in Lithuania are responsible for managing the construction industry's digital planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide the client with timely and high-quality technical documentation;
• Address all open questions for the team to enable smooth workflow;
• Keep the project within the allocated budget and manage any additional work that arises during the project.
• Creating detailed reinforced concrete buildings models using BIM (Tekla structures);
• Communicate effectively with the client on a daily basis.
• Work with R&D projects using artificial intelligence and machine learning to speed up the design process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's (would be an advantage) degree in structural engineering;
• Proven experience with BIM software (Tekla Structures);
• Understanding of construction processes (precast and cast in place);
• Work experience in the field of structural engineering;
• Good English or German language skills (would be an advantage).
