• Define the necessary bridge and related infrastructure design solutions for the "Rail
Baltica" project, applying recognized innovative methods and utilizing specialized
engineering software
• Evaluate applied engineering solutions from a techno-economic perspective, seeking
the optimal option considering the technologically interconnected whole; provide
expert conclusions and recommendations on design and technological topics; and
consult at strategic and technical levels
• Initiate and plan design tasks, monitoring and controlling their deadlines, scope, and
quality
• Coordinate and control internal resources and third-party contractors/suppliers to
ensure timely and high-quality project implementation
• Timely provide information on anticipated risks in task implementation and offer
recommendations for their management
• Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of design activities, providing insights and
suggestions for their optimization, review, or improvement
• Collaborate with employees from other functional areas on site investigation, design,
author’s supervision, processes, data submission, and reporting matters
• Higher education degree in Engineering (preferably in the field of technological
sciences)• Engineering knowledge in high-speed railway bridges and related infrastructure
design, along with an understanding of international standards, regulations, and best
practices (e.g., UIC, EN, Rail Baltica Design Guidelines, etc.)
• Long-term successful work experience in bridge and structural design (experience in
high-speed rail projects is an advantage)
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Proficiency in bridge CAD design, calculation, analysis and BIM software.
• Strong operational planning skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in official document management and drafting rules
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken, no lower than C1 level)
• Excellent mentoring, communication, and teamwork skills
