Senior React, Online Retailer (Lithuania)

Built to change the nature of grocery e-commerce globally, our custom-designed solutions are uniquely capable of meeting the complex and developing expectations of shoppers while driving better productivity, greater flexibility, and higher margins for grocery retailers online. We have a long history of relationships and over the years have helped the client to develop web portals and mobile apps, delivery control systems, staff management tools, data storage, and much more. We are looking for a specialist based in Lithuania to join our team.

One of the areas that DataArt's experts help the client is the development of an exceptional set of solutions for operating online grocery businesses. They are completely based on cloud solutions, everything is hosted on AWS.

As a Frontend Web Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing customer-facing web front-ends and core functionalities.
As part of Our Team you will contribute to high-impact projects and work with cutting-edge technologies like React and TypeScript.
Web team works closely with Mobile teams, Product Managers and UX to ensure feature parity and a consistently high-quality experience across all platforms. Teams leverage industry best-practices like continuous delivery and extensive automated testing, and are given the autonomy to try out new technologies and techniques that support our business and long-term goals.

• Working with UX and Product teams to understand problems, propose solutions and bring them to life
• Build functionality that works across locales in countries around the globe
• Explore new technical approaches to better our engineering practices
• Design solutions which can be understood and improved upon by others
• Take into account the business, technical and economic context when making design decisions
• Assess multiple solutions to problems and be able to articulate these to the business where necessary
• Work with your team to deliver valuable contributions of high quality, in the timescales agreed by your team
• Participate in the full delivery lifecycle, from technical discovery to value validation
• Contribute to discussion and influence technical direction

• 6+ years of experience in JavaScript development
• Experience writing modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of React.js
• Knowledge of Redux
• Experience with Unit Testing, E2E testing
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, etc.
• Highly proficient in CSS
• Passion for user experience
• A fundamental understanding of automated testing
• Comfortable writing production-quality code and rapid prototyping
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively alongside a cross-functional team
• A desire to learn from others to improve your breadth and depth of knowledge
• Spoken English
