Our client is a Japanese budget airline fully owned by a major national carrier. We are looking for a specialist based in Lithuania to join our team.
The client is building a mobile application that will be used for making payment transactions across multiple locations where they operate, including areas with limited or no internet connectivity (offline payments). The project began with an extensive four-month Discovery phase, and actual development started two months ago. The first release is expected in a few months.
The team is cross-functional, encompassing all the necessary roles for both development and project management. It currently consists of 11 members and continues to grow. While we strive to follow Agile principles, collaboration with multiple client-side teams and external vendors necessitates a hybrid approach that combines elements of both Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
This role primarily serves as a Technical Architect and secondarily as a Team Lead. The individual will work closely with an existing team and architects, ensuring alignment on interconnected projects across multiple teams. In this position, you will gain expertise in both the travel and finance domains, contribute to building a PCI DSS compliant product, work with the latest stable technologies, and engage in an evolving project with a strong focus on research and development.
