• Managing and overseeing indirect taxation matters, with a strong focus on VAT compliance and advisory.
• Not only handling VAT declaration filings but also consulting on VAT-related topics.
• Investigating and interpreting local tax regulations in different countries to ensure compliance.
• Developing an in-house VAT expertise approach, limiting reliance on external subcontractors to only essential cases.
• Taking ownership of VAT-related tasks, ensuring that internal capabilities are built rather than outsourced.
• Assessing whether problem-solving and independent research energize or challenge the candidate.
• Demonstrating self-sufficiency in managing tax-related projects while identifying opportunities to optimize VAT processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in taxation, law, business, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 3-5 years of experience in indirect taxation, with a focus on VAT compliance and advisory.
• Excellent English skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong ability to consult and train team members on tax-related matters.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and leadership skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in tax-related software.
• Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong client management skills with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.

2800 - 4000 EUR gross (on a B2B contract), inclusive of all taxes except VAT, based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible to negotiate
