Job description
Position:
We are looking for a Tech Lead to drive technical excellence and lead one of our engineering teams. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical expertise in Java with people management and architectural vision. You will play a critical role in shaping our backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability as we grow.
We invite you to:
- Lead and mentor a team of backend/QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
- Own the technical vision, architecture, and end-to-end lifecycle (development to production) of backend services and APIs in Java
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, System Architects, and other teams to align technical goals with business priorities
- Drive best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence
- Ensure the reliability and performance of services in production through proactive monitoring and incident management
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team
- Work closely with DevOps to optimize deployment, monitoring, and automation processes
We expect you to have:
- 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java and distributed systems
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Expertise in designing and building scalable microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring tools
- Experience in Agile development processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence technical decisions
- Proficiency in English

- Salary: 5000-7000 EUR (gross) per month, depending on your experience and skills
