Job description

Position overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to join our Architects team at DataArt. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of Azure-based solutions, with a particular focus on migrating systems and applications to Azure. The primary goal is to advance our Microsoft partnership, advocate for Azure technologies and best practices, and deliver world-class cloud solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.

We are looking for a specialist based in Lithuania to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design comprehensive Azure solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices, with a focus on cloud migration strategies.
  • Lead and execute large-scale migrations of applications, infrastructure, and data to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
  • Act as an external representative for DataArt, engaging with Microsoft, technical partners, and clients, as well as participating in industry events and media engagements.
  • Work towards achieving various Microsoft partner recognitions and certifications to validate organizational expertise in Microsoft technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure advancements and advocate for their adoption within DataArt and client organizations.
  • Develop and disseminate best practices, architectural principles, and operational guidelines for Azure and related technologies.
  • Contribute to building and growing the DataArt Azure Community.
  • Support pre-sales activities for critical opportunities, offering expertise and technical guidance.
  • Provide consultancy to teams and lead engagements with key clients, including Well-Architected Reviews and Solution Designs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to launch new service offerings built on Azure technologies.


Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Azure, with recent hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
  • Proven expertise in leading cloud migrations to Azure, including planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure as code (IaC), DevOps practices, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in the complete software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate a vision, inspire teams, and motivate stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities, aligning technology decisions with business goals and growth objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, an action-oriented mindset, and a sense of ownership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including strong presentation abilities.


Nice to have

  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft's partner programs, incentives, and resources, with a proven track record of leveraging these for mutual benefit.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse groups of professionals.
  • Familiarity with competing cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
