Job description

Position overview

Our client is one of the largest professional certification associations in the finance industry globally and uses DataArt as its primary technology partner. This highly prestigious and recognizable organization has thousands of certified members worldwide.


We are seeking a skilled BigCommerce Developer to manage and enhance our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, experience with BigCommerce, and a passion for creating seamless online shopping experiences. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and product teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure our e-commerce site is aligned with our business goals.


We are looking for a specialist based in Lithuania to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain our BigCommerce website
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing web pages
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance site functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and BigCommerce updates
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
  • Ensure the website meets all accessibility and compliance standards
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the e-commerce platform


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a BigCommerce Developer or similar role
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or PHP
  • Experience with BigCommerce Stencil framework and BigCommerce APIs
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience principles
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
