Job description

Senior Business Analyst (Market Operations)

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and launch of new products and services within Nasdaq CSD. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and lead the changes in local and cross-border settlement services within European capital markets as well as other CSD services in Baltics and Iceland. You will participate in CSD business development projects and initiatives.


What We Will Do Together:

  • We actively contribute to all stages of new or existing service and product enhancements, including analysis, drafting of requirements, testing and deployment
  • We monitor and analyse product and service performance, provide insightful recommendations for areas of improvement and optimization
  • We ensure that issues have full closure and takes responsibility to work cross functionally until that closure is obtained
  • We collaborate with technology, sales and services, risk, compliance teams to ensure that product and services offering matches the best industry practices
  • We support operational teams in CSD services such as settlements in 4 Nasdaq CSD Securities Settlement Systems, Corporate Action processing and other post-trade processes.
  • We collaborate cross-functionally and nurture excellent relations with customers and partners


What We Expect:

  • Curious, self-motivated and result-oriented, with proactive approach to problem solving
  • Solid understanding of post-trade life-cycle, including settlements, payments, corporate actions and reporting
  • Overall understanding of technology systems and infrastructure supporting post-trade services
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate customer and stakeholders needs into actionable and structured product requirements
  • 3+ years of work experience in financial services industry, preferably in a Market operations or a similar post-trade environment
  • Experience with PowerBI is an advantage
  • Academic degree, preferably in Economics/Finance/Business Administration

This role is based in Vilnius but may involve international travel to our other offices and clients. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week on-site and remotely (Hybrid model).
