We are looking for a skilled IT Database Chief engineer - PostgreSQL to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. 

• Architecture Design: Designing robust, scalable database solutions that support the organizational needs;
• Technology Evaluation: Assessing and recommending database technologies and tools that could benefit the company;
• Database Setup and Configuration: Installing and configuring PostgreSQL databases, setting up replication, partitioning, and other advanced configurations to optimize performance and resilience;
• Performance Tuning: Monitoring system performance and making adjustments to indexes, queries, and configurations to improve throughput and response times;
• Security Implementation: Ensuring that database access is securely controlled and that data is protected against unauthorized access or breaches. This includes implementing encryption and auditing policies.

• PostgreSQL Engineering experience;
• Linux Engineering experience;
• AWS Engineering experience;
• DevOps (git, CI/CD, etc.).
