Role overview
CAST AI is seeking a highly skilled senior software engineer with deep expertise in virtualization and systems programming to join our team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a stealth project in the CTO’s office and join as the first engineer of this newly formed team.
- Experience with Linux environments and system programming
- Experience with containers and orchestration (such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift)
- Strong programming skills in Go
- Be very comfortable reading C code
- This is Senior level Software Engineering role.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Deep knowledge of low-level Linux details process level and down
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go
- Kubernetes experience is a huge plus
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, any of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with storage APIs, including snapshot, clone, provision, attach, backup, and disaster recovery
- Experience with storage systems in Cloud File and Block based
- Experience with network stack, very comfortable with OSI layers, Software Defined Networks.
