BMI is seeking a seasoned Record-to-Report (GL) Project Manager to be responsible for managing projects aimed at optimizing the end-to-end GL process. This role involves overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The GL Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance financial reporting, accounting processes, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly
- Establish project KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments, including finance, accounting, IT, and operations, to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or project management, with a focus on GL processes and project management with proven success in managing complex GL projects, including system implementation and process optimization.
- Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and financial reporting tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including using lean and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Background in Manufacturing organizations is desirable.
- Ability to support deployment of Plan to Fill remediation activities and Roadmap projects.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred; knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory compliance is desirable.
- Accounting or finance certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.

Salary ranges from 4 300 to 4 800 euro gross depending on your experience.
