We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be taking a role as a Transport and Installation (T&I) Manager for an offshore project. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!
You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Managing the process of acquiring T&I services for all related works
- With assistance from technical and legal, drafting and taking part in negotiations of T&I contracts, overseeing contractor performance, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during project execution
- Ensuring the technical suitability and robustness of the solutions developed, the overall reliability of the execution schedule to be developed for the EPCI stage, and to developing cost-optimized / competitive solutions
- Actively contributing to the development of transport and installation plans for the project, in collaboration with the T&I Package Manager and other stakeholders
- Contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive HSE protocols for transport and installation activities in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in cooperation with the HSE team
- Implementing procedures for tracking and documenting installation progress, as well as identifying and addressing any deviations or deficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine transportation, logistics, or related fields
- Experience (5+ years) in the offshore wind industry, with a focus on transport and installation operations
- Strong understanding of marine logistics, vessel operations, and heavy lift techniques in an offshore environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including planning, execution, and risk management focusing on work scopes, interfaces, and safety
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of commercial contract management and procurement
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in transport, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine systems.
