In the Service Reliability and Observability (SRO) department, we develop and provide modern observability services and standardized practices to ensure IT systems are efficient and reliable, saving time for infrastructure and software engineers.

Our Observability Toolset Engineering team is responsible for bringing development practices and actively developing.

As a Chief Software Engineer, you will be in the driving seat of the development agenda. Your work will directly influence the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems, empowering both infrastructure and software engineers to excel in their roles.

We are not just maintaining systems; we are innovatively creating them. You will have the opportunity to actively develop and shape our internal observability tools and crafting solutions that meet our unique needs.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

• Guide and mentor team members to enhance their skills, foster continuous learning, and contribute to their professional growth
• Establish and implement best practices in software development across the team and department, aligning with principles such as SOLID and Clean Code
• Actively participate in the coding, testing, and debugging of our observability tools and services, ensuring high-quality outputs
• Formulate clear, actionable requirements and document them effectively by leading the documentation of project progress and results
• Play a critical role in defining the architecture and design of our existing and future products, ensuring the adoption of modern software architectural patterns

• 7+ years of experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with K8S, OCP, AWS
• CI/CD experience, GitHub/AzureDevOps and best practices knowledge
• Coding practices, like SOLID, Clean Code
• Knowledge and experience with adopting modern software architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event driven)
• REST API practices
• Solid communication skills, strong sense of ownership with the ability to challenge the status quo
• Self-driven and constant learner with willingness to share knowledge within the team
• Knowledge of Go, Generative AI knowledge (would be advantageous)
• Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 5280 EUR to 7920 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
