Content Marketing Specialist

Nasdaq is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to lead content creation for its European Market Services business. Candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing content strategy in partnership with the wider marketing teams. Dynamic, fresh and timely content is critically important to capturing attention and credibility at the right moments with our range of target audiences. Responsible for helping the Revenue Marketing team achieve growth targets, candidate will produce content for all delivery channels including long form, short form, speeches, video concepts and more. Working closely with executive leaders and subject matter experts, the specialist will convert the deep industry expertise and knowhow of our people into content that reinforces Nasdaq’s positioning at the nexus of the capital markets ecosystem. 

 

The Content Marketing Specialist will report to the Head of Marketing for European Markets, based in London. This role will collaborate with Revenue Marketers, Digital Marketing, and Central Marketing to develop strategies that will drive success against defined critical metrics. 


The right candidate will have extensive experience in content creation spanning several different collaboration styles and will manage content from inception through distribution in alignment with prioritized go-to-market initiatives, tentpole events and key client moments. From awareness creation to demand generation and loyalty and retention initiatives, the candidate will be a key contributor in nurturing prospects through a complex buyer’s journey and fuelling client satisfaction. 


About You: 


You’re a creator, spanning the role of chief storyteller, content marketing strategist and writer. You have a strong track record for developing content across a wide range of channels. You love variety and are inspired by a challenge. You’re able to distil complex information gathered from competitive and macro landscape research and digest it in the context of the feedback you are getting from the field to ideate and create compelling content for a wide range of audiences, purposes and channels. You’re excited to take product initiatives and translate them into narratives and stories linking them to Nasdaq’s broader mission and purpose – fuelling inclusive growth and prosperity by improving transparency, liquidity and integrity for all. 


What you will do: 


·      Plan, develop and implement our content strategy in collaboration with the European marketing team & business stakeholders 

·      Ideate and create compelling content for a wide range of audiences, purposes, and channels (articles, bylines, whitepapers, product factsheets, eBooks, video scripts, and more) 

·      Project manage content development with internal and external vendors 

·      Partner with Design and Global Content teams to ensure asset deliverables follow style and legal guidelines for all campaigns 

·      Leverage internal and external data sources to quickly react to trends and cultural moments 

·      Continual learning of competitor landscape, digital opportunities, and challenges to identify actionable content 


What we expect: 


The Content Strategist is a critically important role and requires a blend of analytical skills, competitive and market research experience, content marketing expertise and effective communication skills. 


·      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications or English 

·      Proven years in writing and editing experience 

·      Strong writing and editing skills within B2B 

·      Solid command of English grammar rules 

·      Executive presence and confidence to complete projects with senior and executive stakeholders 

·      Ability to take complex concepts and make them accessible for and understandable by global audiences that stretch a wide array of buyer personas 

·      Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
