Senior Full-stack Engineer, Integrations

About the role:

We are looking for a full-stack Software Engineer. Ideally, you should be proactive, product-minded and enthusiastic about crafting the impactful software product for our customers.

The Integrations team focuses on growing Omnisend business by enabling the Omnisend services for the e-commerce merchants using e-commerce platforms or custom e-shop implementations.

Technically this is achieved via the API ecosystem and specific integrations:

- Omnisend REST API

- Omnisend developer environment (developer console, documentation, credential management)

- 3rd party application market and specific applications

- Store connection workflow capabilities

- Front-end API (JS snippet)

- Wordpress integration ecosystem

- Partner portal

What you’ll do @Omnisend:

• Contribute significantly to product development decisions
• Design, develop, and test features
• Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
• Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Share best practices with team members

We expect that you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems
• Customer centricity
• Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang
• Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
• Proficiency in any database and willingness to learn MongoDB
• Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
• Working experience with any cloud provider (in Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services)
• Experience of working with 3rd-party API’s
